It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for the weekend! Songs are a great way to get yourself pumped up for the weekend. So in this music blog post we’re going to talk about 10 Songs you should listen to before you start your weekend adventures.

“Ride” by Twenty One Pilots.

This song is perfect for blasting on your way to the beach or a pool party! It’s upbeat and fun, making it great for singing along with and dancing.

“I Can’t Make You Love Me” by Bonnie Raitt.

A classic country tune that will instantly put you in a good mood as soon as you hear those first few notes! Perfect if you’re feeling down this weekend but still want some music to listen to while cleaning up around the house or doing other chores.

“Get Lucky” by Daft Punk ft Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers.

We couldn’t make a Songs list without including at least one of our favorite songs from 2013, one we’ve been listening to nonstop for the last year! This song is guaranteed to make you feel good and get your head bopping.

“Only One” by Kanye West ft Chance The Rapper & Mr. Hudson.

If there’s one artist that always has our back, it’s Kanye and this song was no exception. It’s a ballad about his daughter North (Pay attention at the end of the video!) which makes it perfect if you have kids of your own or love spending time with people who do on weekends like us…or if you just want a sweet jam before heading out into an adventurous night alone 😉

“And We Danced” by Sturgill Simpson

Songs can also be used as mood music as well! Songs can make us feel sad, happy, or groovy so it’s important to find music that matches our mood and fits the occasion. This song about a slow dance is perfect for trying to get over your current heartbreak by listening to this amazing love song.

“I Love You Always Forever” by Donna Lewis

Another classic ballad but with an awesome pop twist from 1996. It’s one of those songs you have on repeat while doing all sorts of mindless activities like cleaning up around the house or staying in bed after a long day at work; just something nice playing softly in the background as you do whatever needs to be done before heading out later tonight

“Strawberry Swing” by Coldplay ft Kelis

Songs don’t always have to be upbeat and fast-paced! There are some songs that make you want to slow down and take it easy, like this amazing song by Coldplay. It’s a lovely tune with beautiful lyrics about the life of two people who live together but separately; simply listening to this makes us want to curl up on the couch with our significant other.

“Roar” by Katy Perry

Songs can also make feelings go in reverse, too! If you’re feeling really worn out from work or school then there’s nothing better than going for an empowering anthem like “Roar.” This is perfect for turning your bad mood around as soon as possible so head over here if you need a reminder of how awesome we all are 😉

“Hey Ya” by OutKast Songs can also make you feel good about your current situation! Songs are a great way to express our happiness in life and this is definitely one of them.
