This year I am posting a series of photographs from my first birthday. All of the pictures were taken in the summer and fall of 2016. I don’t normally post photos from this age, but it felt good to share some of my friends’ firsts. I want to share them with everyone I know so I hope you enjoy them and encourage others to share their own with you.

Thanks for reading.

I am so excited for this year’s birthday!! What can I say? It is my first year of being a mom and it’s always an exciting time. I’m so proud of my mom and can’t wait to share more of her with others.

I’ll leave you with some of the first photos I took of my parents and their first year of being grandparents. I was five and they were two years old. I think the best part about these photos is that they were taken on a beach. I love the colors, the sand, and the simplicity of the subject matter. I’m a firm believer in “don’t judge a book by its cover.

If you’re having birthday celebrations and you’re a photographer, you will probably be doing a lot of your best work in front of a lens. But if you’re a mom who has a family, who is constantly changing, and is constantly moving around, you need to rethink your approach to photography. The only thing better than being surrounded by people is having the ability to see them as a living, breathing, evolving presence. It’s the most important part of being a mom.

And the only way to be a good mom is to take care of your family. We are all human, and we’re all in this together. So when you’re a mom, you have to be the person who takes care of yourself by eating healthy, exercising, and living a more active lifestyle. There is no substitute for the personal care and attention that you give to your kids.

So now that I’m a mom, I’m going to take some time to enjoy the photos that my kids have sent me. It’s been a real pleasure seeing them through the lens, so it’s nice to have them back and to know that they’ll see them again in the future. I’m going to do my best to make this the best birthday I can possibly make it.

I have been taking my son to see his first year of photography classes and I find myself looking forward to the next time I see him. I love photography and I love his enthusiasm. He is so enthusiastic and has taken on so many tasks with no real plan of how he wants to do them. But that’s what makes it so fun.

When my son was a baby I was really not sure what I wanted him to do with his life and so I made it a point to only be the photographer for his birthday. He is the cutest, funniest, and most energetic kid I have ever seen. I thought we would start with an engagement session and then do a wedding. That was my first idea, but then I learned that was not the way I wanted to do it.

I decided that I wanted to take portraits, so I set up a tripod, a light, and started taking photos. I didn’t know if I was going to get any good photos, but I did get some that turned out pretty good.
