Our lives are a mix of physical and mental activity. It takes tremendous effort to keep our bodies and minds healthy. This is why the constant motion of walking, running, and playing sports is essential. Physical activity promotes a state of relaxation and improves our well being. It also increases mood and helps to de-stress. Our minds also need the occasional break to unwind, and a walk through the woods, or in the sand, is a perfect way for that.
