Dr. Jones’s work focuses on climate change and he is the leader of the Florida Climate Institute. Six ABE students compete in the American Society Of Agricultural and Biological Engineers International Fountain Wars Competition where they took home the championship title by placing first internationally. The University of Florida Fountain War team consisted of team captain Matthew Guthart and members Becca O’Toole, Noelle Rabideau, Bailey Harrell, Michael McGowan, and Andrew Crosby. The International Society of Precision Agriculture has selected ABE Graduate Student Daeun Choi for an Outstanding Graduate Student Awards.

Daeun received a complimentary registration to the 13th International Conference on Precision Agriculture with a one-year membership in the ISPA. ABE Advisory Board Member, Dr. George Vellidis, received the top precision agriculture award closure of the atrioventricular valve occurs when ________. – Pierre C. Robert Senior Scientist Award, for his significant and lasting contributions to precision irrigation and yield mapping. He is currently a professor in the Crop and Soil Science Department at the University of Georgia, Tifton.
