The new floor lamp from Vivid is a design within reach floor lamp with two lighted side panels that allow you to adjust the light even at the most remote location. You can even put it on a pedestal or table that makes the lamp easier to move, and a detachable stand makes it the perfect night light for your patio or deck.
Now, this lamp is a great way to show off your design, but it’s probably a little too dim to make it ideal for use in a kitchen, which makes me wonder if you could make it brighter by adding a second light source. Or maybe you could add a second light source on the lamp itself.
Well, it’s easy enough to see how there are a lot of design elements, but how about just adding the lamp to make it a better “light within reach?” Maybe you could create a new light source that is attached to the lamp and that’s just as dim, but also a little brighter. Maybe you could do it in a “floating” fashion. Or maybe you could just add a second light source to the top of the lamp.
We’ll never know, because we don’t get any email support for our Kickstarter campaign. We’re not even sure if we can use the existing Kickstarter backers to help us fund the development of the game.
Kickstarter may not be the best place to pitch a game like this. It’s one thing to ask for help to get a game funded, but to pitch something like this you pretty much have to know what you’re pitching. Also, as the game is currently in development, Kickstarter doesn’t really have a say in whether or not it helps. What this means is that our Kickstarter backers are basically left to their own devices.
The good news is that our backers are more than happy to help us out by pledging their time and money to help us develop our game. The bad news is that they are not all willing to help us kickstart our game by donating money. In fact, many of our backers will be upset if they learn that they will not be getting any of their money’s rewards once the game is published.
We really like working with the Kickstarter crowd and it is a wonderful way to test the waters, but it does have its limits. The Kickstarter crowd is not all-powerful. They are not able to force the developers to make changes that we think will benefit our game. We would greatly appreciate a few more backers who want to help us fund the development of our game, as well as a few more backers who don’t mind helping us kickstart our game.
We’re looking at getting a few more backers, but it could take months to get everyone on board. After all, we still have to find out if the original Kickstarter backers are still in the picture. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about the community deciding not to support us. I have had a bunch of people tell me that they think we are making a terrible game, and they would feel bad for us if they see our game on Kickstarter.
This is not really my area of expertise, but I think it goes without saying that you will also need to make sure that every backer who pledges more than $50 gets a different lamp to use. In other words, you will need to design a lamp to be used in every room of the house.
Design within reach stands for design within reach of the game. That means that as a designer you will have to design a lamp to be used in every room of the house. While this might sound like a lot of work, it will give your house a distinctly retro touch that other people will love. I mean you don’t have to design every lamp for every room just for the sake of it.
