One of my favorite ways to eat my way through a meal is with a little bread and a knife-and-fork. I’ve had this simple, but incredibly satisfying dish since the 1980s. And today it’s even better. One of the things that have been true all along when eating out with friends or family is that we’ve all been served these meals with the same kind of bread.
That was triata until recently, but now it’s just a new trend. It’s one of those dishes that comes out of nowhere, without a lot of fanfare. Its name is a combination of the three things all Italians love to eat: tripe, bread, and pasta. Because this is one of those dishes that you don’t often see in restaurants, you have to get it from street vendors to make it at home.
The traditional version of triata is more like “lunch meat,” and has its own set of rules. Its based on a tripe you would find in Italy at the time of the Renaissance, and is served with a pungent sauce of garlic, olive oil, and parsley. The new iteration is basically just a pizza rolled in flour and topped with a few toppings, and is served with tomato sauce and a sprinkling of cheese.
I like both versions, but I tend to go for the tomato sauce and cheese version. The sauce reminds me of the Parma ham I had for lunch yesterday, but with a little kick to it. The cheese gives it a nice crunchy texture. All in all, it’s pretty tasty.
The new iteration also offers the ability to choose one of eight special powers. These include the ability to turn on/off a flashlight, or spray an acid on people, or teleport, or teleport from one place to another, or teleport backwards.
The game has the ability to use light-based attacks, but I think my favorite is the teleporation. This is a bit of a cheat because a lot of the time I want to teleport to the nearest bar, but when you’re stuck on a lava lake or a lake made of glass, you can still teleport to wherever you’d like. In fact, my favorite part of the game is the ability to teleport backwards.
I think a lot of people like this because it’s something that doesn’t involve any of their real lives. If they have a job or a relationship or something to do, they can just teleport to wherever they want. By the same token, if they’re on Deathloop’s party island, they can just teleport to the nearest bar or to the party leader. I imagine if you’re on the island, your real life is just a big blur.
Personally I think this is cool because it lets you forget what youve done or where youve been. You simply teleport to wherever you want, and youre not even required to remember that you did it. I would imagine that it can be really useful if youre on a trip that you dont have to go back to.
This is one of the things I like about the “triat” system, which is being developed on the Deathloop platform. Instead of having to remember how you got to the island, the system will help you remember where youve been, and if youre ever stranded on an island, you can simply teleport to the nearest bar or party leader.
One of the many cool things that triat has going for it is that it can be applied to almost any situation. The system is set up so that you can use it to let you know if youre on a ship, plane, boat, or even a person. To get started, you need to pick a color (which you can use in conjunction with triat’s other powers), and then you have a limited amount of time until you can take it back to wherever youve been.
