I love cream colored desks because it gives me the illusion of being all business while also being a cozy refuge for my laptop when I’m sitting at the computer. Plus, I’ve found it’s a great place to get the most out of my coffee.

While I don’t want you to think the only option is to make this your go-to place for all things cream colored, there are a few things you can do to help your home’s décor. The most obvious is to keep the cream color in your bathroom, but also put some neutral or light-colored stuff on your desk and other places where you might be tempted to sit and write.
I could paint myself in cream and still not want any of the things I need. I do the same thing when I write. I write because I have to and not because I want to. My choice to write is probably my choice to sit and write for a while. When I’m not sitting I’m usually writing, watching movies, or reading. I’m sure I’m not the only person out there who does this.
This is one of the most common arguments for taking up painting. The idea of putting on color doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m a big fan of neutral colors, but they’re not a good place to put the emphasis on color. The thing is, even neutral colors can work well for a lot of things. You can make a “neutral” statement in a way that’s a little bit more personal.
The problem is that neutral colors don’t always work for you. For some people color can be a way to make a statement that doesn’t say much about them. This is why I think painting is such a great medium to use for self-expression. A color on your desk? You mean like this? No, you dont. And this is why I think color does work really well for self-expression.
The problem is that paint is a non-verbal medium. If you want to tell somebody about your feelings, you can use metaphors. But that doesnt mean you have to use metaphors. I am not saying that you should use metaphors to express yourself, but you do have to be a little bit more sensitive to how your words are interpreted. The problem is that the phrase “I love cinnamon” may not be a good metaphor if you love cinnamon.
