Let’s get started!

Check out these great ideas for writing creative headlines to keep readers engaged or even entice them back after a break between articles! In general we know people will read a headline and then decide whether to click through to the content you’ve written if they like what it has to offer.

What To Include:

Good grammar use!

The way your sentences flow is important to keep readers engaged and help make sure your point gets across clearly don’t let spelling or grammar mistakes ruin your novel blog post before it’s even published. Make sure you read over everything once more at least just before hitting publish on this article in particular.

Headlines

Titles or headlines might seem like an unnecessary detail, but if you’re not including one then it’s likely that many people will click away before reading your content.

The best advice to give is read as much as possible about blogging and learn from those who are more experienced than yourself!

What To Include In The Title:

Keywords!!!

It goes without saying but the more specific and unique to our topic these words are the better when trying to make sure people will find us in search engines or social media feeds as they do their online research for relevant information. This includes any special terminology related with blogging like ‘blog’ itself as well as other popular phrases associated with publishing an article or having one published elsewhere. There might not seem like there’s much to say about blogging, but once you get started your mind will open up and it’ll become clearer what all is involved.

What Not To Include:

Numbers or bullet points!

These things can be distracting and take away from your message when you are trying to tell a story in words, so avoid including them here as much as possible. If it’s necessary to include any numbers at all for some reason then make sure they’re not numbered lists (a list is better suited for other types of content). Just remember that we want this blog post to have a human voice. If you don’t write like one then nobody will know what you think about these articles either way no matter how well written they might be.

Advertising links!

You certainly could do this but there’s no need with all the great resources for blogging available to you free of charge.

Let’s not forget that this is a blog post about writing an article, so it might be worth mentioning here before we get too carried away with creating content that there are some basics people should know when they’re starting out and need help getting their feet wet.
