This is a photo I took of my friend’s wedding.

Just in case you’re a photographer and not sure how to protect the image…

If you’re looking for a photo of your wedding, please don’t use it in any way without obtaining permission from the owner. This is especially true if you are using it on a website or public display of it.

If you are posting it on your personal site, include a link to the original file, and include a note when you post it.

If you are uploading a photograph of a wedding to a website, please include the following information: Name of the photographer (including full name), name of the bride or groom, and year of birth (or marriage date) of the bride.

Photography is a great way for you and your family to have a snapshot of your wedding. If you are looking for a good photographer for your wedding, I suggest trying out the photographer’s website. The photographer can provide a free portfolio with their work, so you can see the type of work they do. Just make sure that you get their permission before uploading your image.

If you have a family member that may use your images, it is important to tell them that you plan on buying these images and you are not giving permission for this to happen. They need to understand that you are not buying their photos. As a side note, I am trying to get a few more people to sign up for the photography website.
