As the weather warms up, it’s become my favorite time of year for crochet photography. I love the colors, the flow, and the creativity.
So what I love the most about crochet photography is the fact that it can give you so many creative ways to use your props. It’s also fun because you can use your crochet to really make it feel as if you are part of this big beautiful photo shoot. I think it is so fun to just use my crochet as a set of props in my own photos.
I’m a big fan of crochet photography and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it is so much more than just a hobby. In fact, there is so much creativity when it comes to using your props that I can’t imagine not using them.
It is a hobby. And yes you can use your crochet as a prop in a lot of photos, but that is true for every hobby. For example, you can use your crochet as a prop in your next wedding photo shoot. Or you can crochet one of my wedding gowns and use it as a prop in a few photos with the bridesmaids. Or you can crochet a wedding cake and use it as a prop in a few photos with the wedding guests.
There is a lot of creativity and a lot of fun to be had with crochet.
Its good to be creative.
Like most of our hobby, that creativity has its limits. But as long as you don’t take it too seriously, there are many creative things you can still do with crochet. For example, we have a couple of items that are the result of crochet. In the photo above we used our crochet to make a cute necklace. In that same photo, we used our crochet to make a crochet flower.
There’s a couple of things that I feel like I can’t really bring this topic up enough – and that are important to note – with crochet. One is that this particular craft is a craft that can be done by anyone, making it great for the beginner. But then there is the second issue. You can’t just crochet something and have it magically appear in your closet. It’s just a little bit of art, but it has to be done carefully.
What I am talking about is the way you use your crochet to create props. While it is great to have a piece of art in your closet, it is also great to have your props. This can be just about any craft you want – it doesnt even have to be crochet.
The craft is great for beginners because it allows you to work freely, while the props make you feel like you are working on a higher level. Once you know how to use them, your creativity will flow out onto your walls. Crochet is a great craft for props because it allows you to stretch your skills and learn new things while having a collection of unique things you can display to others.
