Technology salaries have increased tremendously in the past 10 years. This has brought about a lot of changes to the industry in terms of salary. However, to say that technology salaries have increased by 10X is an oversimplification. In fact, technology salaries have actually declined in most of the past 10 years. I have been writing this article, and have had the honor of writing for the publication for 7 years.
