I don’t know about you, but I love good minors for information technology.
The good minors are all about learning how to use technology to do useful things. The bad minors are all about getting into “technology” and having fun with it.
The answer is to focus on learning the proper use of technology while learning the proper way to use it. It’s a good thing when you have a good kid and a bad kid.
