As a gamer, I think that that’s a good thing to do, but I disagree with the CEO of Getacs because they seem to want to completely control your experience with the Internet. They don’t seem to want to let you play the games you want to play.
Thats the thing though, and it’s true what the CEO said. I wouldn’t want to be on the Internet. I would also argue that I probably shouldn’t be on the Internet. But if it was up to me, I’d keep my Xbox 360 and play every single game I wanted to play on it. Thats a personal choice that I obviously don’t have.
I agree that it is a personal decision. I dont think the CEO is trying to make a statement about what the CEO does or doesn’t do. He is trying to make a statement about what he does or doesn’t do or doesn’t do. The fact that he is talking about what he does or doesn’t do is indicative of his own personal choice.
The fact that our CEO, Ben Linden, wants to make a point about what he does or does not do makes me think that the CEO has a point. It is probably just a case of Ben being a little bit of a jerk for not being a little bit more aggressive when he got the job. But more likely, he is trying to make a statement about his own personal life.
After all, if we are being honest with ourselves, it’s probably because we’re a little bit immature. We are, after all, the ones with the most powerful technology. But we also have the most powerful ability to lie. We can keep the truth from our own families, friends, and coworkers, but we can’t keep the truth from the public. What makes us feel like we have the power to keep the truth from people is that we are not always honest or truthful about ourselves.
