In this post I want to talk about some of the things I see in your life that make you change your approach.
It is not easy for most of us to change our approach to technology. I know this because I have been in that position. The thing I see in your life that makes you change your approach is when you are able to find a way to change the way you think about technology. For example, I have been a long time advocate for the idea that it is better to have a smartphone and a smartwatch with a camera than not to have one at all.
What I’m seeing in your life is a lot like the person who found a way to change the way they view the world. Instead of having a camera that can look at the earth, they can use a phone that can look at the earth.
This is a great example of how we can all learn to change the way we think about technology from a single person. My point is really that we are all just one long string of actions and decisions that have been made, sometimes by ourselves, that have changed the way we live. And that is how life works, no matter what your age or where you are in your life. It’s not a perfect world, and it never will be, but it’s better than the alternative.
I was reminded of this when I read that Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology is hiring. There is something about this name that makes me think of a college football coach, but I’m still not sure if that’s the best analogy for this job. A college football coach is someone who is trying to win games, but not all that concerned about the outcome. A Franklin Institute of Technology is still attempting to win games, but the job description is more like a player trying to win games.
An interesting choice of job title, but I get the impression there are a ton of jobs like this. For example, I think the head of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab needs to be able to take a nap.
It seems to be a common misconception that the head of a college football program is a player. In reality, the head of a college football program is a member of the coaching staff.
