My dream is to have a photography business (in one form or another, probably) where I am self-employed. I am self-employed in that I own my own business, but I also have a partner, and I work side by side with him to produce my own work.
When I started my photography business, I would tell people I was self-employed and they would ask why I was getting paid so much more than a regular person. The answer is that I get paid more because I am an independent (and therefore self-employed) photographer. I just happen to have a high price tag and I have to make a profit in order to stay afloat. This is one of those things that comes naturally to me.
The other thing that makes being independent a good idea is that you can self-discipline yourself to do a lot more photography than you would naturally. It’s really hard to stick to a schedule when you’re working full time.
I’ve had a lot of success in this area by working in a studio environment. I’m not an artist by trade, so I tend to find that I get very frustrated when I have to take a really long or boring photo. I like to take the long way around, and also make sure to shoot at different angles so that I don’t get tired of the same subject matter. This isn’t always easy, especially when your own self-made studio is in a basement.
It is a very difficult and often time consuming task to get a great photo, and it can be very frustrating. The best photographers tend to do a lot of trial and error. Sometimes they will take a photo that they are so satisfied with that they want to share it with their friends. Ive had several photographers come to me asking for help with portraits. The problem is that I personally am very picky about my own work, so I dont like to ask for help.
I think that the best photographers are very conscientious about what they do, and do so in a very deliberate, careful way. This is why I started the dream photography site Dreamphotography.com. I wanted to show that while I like to be selective about what I shoot, I want to share my images with the world. I want to be able to say that my work is beautiful and that others may enjoy it too.
I like to think that the best photographers know how to use their camera in a way that makes me feel good about looking at their work. If youre a photographer who does something that makes you happy, take it to the next level and share it.
Dream Photography is an ongoing work in progress. I am always finding new ways to push the art and the medium to new limits and I always come back to the same thing – that we all should be more creative and more open-minded about what we take and why.

In my own experience I have gone from a medium that is good and true to one that is good and also subjective. But it is by definition also beautiful. When you take something too seriously, you become so good at it and so good at it that you lose your authenticity and become a joke. By taking something too seriously, you lose your individuality, you become a caricature.
