As I mentioned in the introduction, I teach self-awareness in all of my classes, so I bring this up again because I think it is an important topic to explore. Technology has been a big part of our lives for a very long time. Technology has changed our lives in ways that are quite profound.

This is especially true for kids. Technology in general is the main source of stress for parents. The way I’ve seen this play out in my classes is that kids go to school and have to deal with technology and media in general. At the same time, for the general population, technology is not a problem. It’s like the difference between getting a job and having one. You get to wear a suit, but you’re not at work.

The problem though is that the older the technology, the higher the stress. As we get older our bodies and brains have to get stronger and able to cope with the stresses of technology. The stress of technology is much higher if we have no choice in the matter. For example, in my classes I work with children with special needs. With that being said, my students are all very bright and can handle the technology. But it does cause stress for them to deal with it.

The problem is that the stress that causes the stress hormones to take over is what causes it. It is actually a lot more likely that the stress hormones make the stress hormones go away after a while. The stress hormones have a way of causing the stress hormones to drop.
