I had went to Fast med and they had told me they could not see me as they were too busy and they had over a 5 hour wait. I did have to wait about 45 minutes, but had a super efficient visit. I was called in taken straight to an exam room where I could still smell the cleaning agents. After a brief history of my problem, the nurse left and provider was in after a short wait. Today’s visit at Urgent Care North Hills location was overall excellent. I’ve been trained in mindfulness & learned to go right to the pain, agnoligh it with love, because it’s a part of me. Then hold it gently, in my mind as I imagine waves softly moving accrossed it. It wouldn’t hurt to do an in-service for your providers on mindfulness, as to recommend it to their pts. Some patients with acute pain suffer much waiting to see their PCP.
