Music is a great way to escape from the daily grind and find happiness. Music has always been my go-to for that reason.

The year is 2021 and the world is in a totally different place. The economy has completely tanked, the population of North America has been halved due to an outbreak of disease, and even some countries have fallen entirely out of existence. Life as we know it is over but there’s still one thing left to do: enjoy music! Here at the music blog you can check some more music albums.

I’m going to discuss some albums that are coming out this year.

  • “Nostalgia” by The Orwells

The Orwells are a rock band that has been playing music since 2010. Their latest album is titled “Terrible Human Beings” and it was released in 2017. The lyrics of this album have a common theme of nostalgia, which can be seen through the song titles such as “In My Bed,” “The Righteous One,” and “Permanent Record.” These songs are about reminiscing on previous events in life with fondness while also remembering the bad parts of growing up.

  • “Famous Friends Forever” by Allie X

I never thought I would be friends with a celebrity. But, it turns out that the famous people you know from TV and magazines are just like you and me when they’re not in front of the camera lens. It’s amazing to think about how many famous people I’ve met, but my favorite is Allie X because she’s really cool and kind hearted! She even invited me to her concert last night which was awesome because she always has such an intimate stage presence.

  • “I’m Not Your Boyfriend, I’m Just Someone You Know” by Astrid S

I’m not your boyfriend, I’m just someone you know. Just because we’re friends doesn’t mean we have to be in a relationship. I don’t want to put pressure on you or myself by making assumptions about how things are going to go between us and if it’s more than just friendship. There is nothing wrong with being friends and that’s all this is. This blog post will explore the idea of whether friendships can turn into relationships, but also explore why they might not work out as well as some other factors that may come up when being friends and trying to take it further than that.

  • “Walking on Sunshine” by Kerli

“The sun is shining, the sky’s a beautiful blue and there’s just something in the air that makes you want to do cartwheels. The weather is perfect for walking outside and enjoying what this world has to offer.” Kerli sings “walking on sunshine” so well- it might be one of her best songs! This song reminds me of when I was younger, spending summers with family at our cabin in Maine. We would always take walks down by the lake or go fishing with my dad. It’s such a great memory from my childhood.”

  • “Dance Like No One’s Watching” by Noah Cyrus ft Labrinth

The song “Dance Like No One’s Watching” by Noah Cyrus ft Labrinth is the perfect anthem for those who have a fear of dancing in public. In the lyrics, Cyrus sings about how she used to be afraid of people watching her dance but now realizes that it’s okay because they’re not really watching anyway. The chorus repeats this sentiment with lyrics like “don’t worry bout what people say/they don’t care enough to stay”. This quote is great for anyone who has ever been told that they are too shy or reserved to get up and show off their moves on the dance floor.”Dance Like No One’s Watching” is a song by American singer and actress Noah Cyrus ft Labrinth. This song was released on July 13, 2017 as the lead single from her upcoming debut album NC-17 (2017). The song features keyboard sounds and heavy bass to emphasize its carefree lyrics which encourages listeners to dance like nobody is watching.

  • “The Ocean (featuring Khalid)” by John Mayer

The ocean is one of the most beautiful things in this world, and John Mayer’s new song “The Ocean” showcases that beauty. The lyrics are simple and heartfelt, telling about how much he loves his lover while also describing the vastness of the ocean and its waves crashing around him. As he sings about wanting to be with her forever, Khalid’s soothing voice echoes as if from a distance which only adds to the song’s emotional impact. This song will make you feel many different emotions: happiness at being reminded of your own love story; sadness for those who have lost loved ones or have been apart from them; peace when hearing it during an evening walk on a beach.
