This is one of those things that I really feel like we have to look at, but it can be a good thing to do. I know that sometimes we may have to get a great deal done in the office, but the time, the work, the time we have to do it all in the office is what really motivates us to do more in our time.
This is one of those things that the economy may not be able to support, but if you have the right skills, you can make a good living doing it. One of the fastest growing job sectors in America right now are those that are technical. If you’re not computer tech, your skills may be more in the IT or finance departments, but for the tech professionals, there are plenty of jobs.
If you are a tech professional (and I’m talking about you!) then you may not have a clear job description, but instead you will be the person that decides on the best ways to work. If youre the IT guy, you may decide to design and implement your own software. If youre the finance guy, you might decide to write an investment newsletter or do a stock trade. If youre the media guy, you may decide to edit or create videos or podcasts.
So, if you have a job, you have a job description. So, you can decide on your own what you do, but if you are not sure what your job is, then you can always ask for advice.
In the same way that I have to ask for advice from my friends about what they do, you should also ask for advice about what you do. You might be surprised just how many people would be willing to help you.
I have to admit that I am a big fan of advice. When I was in college, I spent a lot of time asking friends for their advice. The advice I got was usually pretty good, and often they were actually right. So, I think it’s good to ask people for their advice. But, I also think we should strive to be as self-aware as possible. This is especially important when it comes to money.
I recently wrote a blog post that focused on the fact that people don’t realize that you can actually make money when you don’t do anything productive. I got a lot of really helpful responses in that post, so I thought I’d share some of my own advice.
Most people I know that are “working” are either working from home, or working for themselves. This is because they either have to be productive, or be productive from home. It might seem like an obvious statement, but this is actually quite easy to forget when you’re in the middle of a long workday. And, if your house is too big to do this, then it’s probably not worth doing at all.
I’m going to share with you my personal process for coming up with a job description. I usually find a new job through a search engine, then I either start working at it, or I start to search for a job. The main rule I use is that I look for positions that could potentially be a stepping stone to something else.
