This object will subsequently accelerate down the inclined plane due to the presence of an unbalanced force. It is the parallel component of the force of gravity that causes this acceleration. The parallel component of the force of gravity is the net force.
Once the data has been exported, a DVD icon will appear on the bottom of the screen, indicating the DVD is burning . To ensure compatibility with other DVD drives, the DVD should now be “finalized”. Again from the transfer pull-down menu, choose “finalize medium and eject from DVD-Burner”.
The stationary standing position is a stable position with the line of gravity centered over the base of support. To initiate the step, a force is exerted downward and backward against the ground. The ground reaction force acts to move the center of gravity slightly up and to shift the line of gravity forward of the base of support, initiating the n8v coin forward step. The swing leg then moves forward to reestablish a base of support either to regain stability or to initiate the next step. Until a reference scan has been acquired, the scanner is using as its frame of reference the magnet isocenter – the center of the magnetic field, which is in the geometric center of the bore tube. This could, in principle, differ from the reference position, called REFERENCE, which we use. The reference we want to use is the center of our subject’s head, which we have just marked with the laser prior to putting the bed into the magnet. As soon as a localizer has been acquired using the REFERENCE positioning mode, the scanner software then ‘knows’ to reference all subsequent images relative to that first image. This allows you to prescribe slices on each subsequent image however you like, and the scanner will track where you are in space.
If you try to come back too soon after an injury, you run the great risk of reinjuring yourself — maybe even more seriously than before.
