I used to love reading the nook pillow. I thought they were the coolest because you could put them on your nightstand and not have to go to the bathroom and clean them by yourself.
Well, I’ve finally gotten to the point where I’m totally addicted to reading the nook pillow. Now it’s like a personal pet project. I need an excuse to take it somewhere.
I guess there are two kinds of pet projects. The ones that involve taking something a person already owns and making it your own. And the ones that involve taking something that they don’t own, and then making it your own. The nook pillow is a good example of the latter. You can buy them at Walmart for $2.99. You can also make your own out of a blanket or nap pillow you have lying around.
I have been meaning to make my own nook pillow for a long time (I have a blanket, but I don’t have nap pillows) but after buying one at Walmart I forgot all about it. I thought about it for a bit and then decided that I was just going to make it and leave it laying there for now. That was until I saw some beautiful fabric at our local fabric store and decided that I should make the pillow.
So I tried it and it is really great. It is much sturdier than the old pillow I had and holds much more of the same. I really like it and may or may not put it to use.
