Recording Arts Technology is not just another recording technology. It’s about recording the things that happen in our lives on the spot, rather than recording them later.
Recording arts technology is a process. Think of it as a recording device, or a video camera. It’s a way to capture what happens as a result of something. It can be used for recording a phone call, but this is one of those recordings that is so personal that it must happen just as you are making it.
The thing is, recording arts technology is also a way to capture things that people just don’t want to remember. One of my favorite examples is a woman I worked with who recorded her son’s first step in the morning to her cell phone. She recorded the entire event so she could go back and relive it with her later when she had a chance.
While it might not be the same thing as being with your kid, recording an event has been a way for me to recapture the moment without having to do it myself. It is a good way to remember something you just don’t want to forget.
Recording a child’s first step has been a great way to remember my own kids. I remember it so well I can still hear the sound of the record player and feel the heat of the air conditioning as I was recording it. It is a good reminder of how the world around me has changed since I was a kid. At least it was with my kids.
A friend had a 3-year-old that was on record as saying, “I can’t believe how fast people are changing.” That was in a moment of panic and he needed a way to make sense of it. You can’t just keep changing things because it’s working. It’s always a constant flux of change and new ideas.
Recording technology is changing, in a very big way. It is not the same sound that you’d get in your old home recording studio. It is a constant state of flux. But the sound that you get is closer to the sound that you would get in a new recording studio. It’s a constant flux of ideas and sounds of technology that come and go. The recording studio has to keep up with these changes because the technology is constantly progressing.
In the new Star Trek teaser for Star Trek: Beyond, the hologram-voice of Captain Picard states that the recording studio is constantly evolving, and that the sound it produces is constantly changing as well. Because of this, in the new trailer for Star Trek: Beyond, we see a new technology (called a sound file) that is constantly being developed and refined. In short, the technology for recording sound is constantly evolving.
In the new Star Trek teaser for Star Trek Beyond we see the new technology for recording sound. It looks to me like a new method of capturing sound. It is as though a new recording studio is constantly being erected somewhere else and now we can use it to record sound.
I’m not sure if the same technology exists for recording video as well, but I’m sure it is. I’m guessing this technology works for both audio and video, making it a whole lot easier to transfer sounds and videos to your computer.
