My goal is to use technology in all its forms to help people live a more fulfilling life. I think this is absolutely a goal that all of us can accomplish and it is something that I feel very passionate about.
This is a really big goal, but in a way that can’t be achieved without the power of technology. When I first started working with sci-tech, it was all about finding out what people had done and was doing to improve their lives. For a few years my goal was to write the books that helped people live a happier life and to write the books that would help people save and have fun.
The whole point of sci-tech is to make people’s lives better, not to make their lives better. A common argument against sci-tech is that it is less efficient, but that is just a misperception. I argue that it is more efficient than the alternatives. If you’re going to improve someone’s productivity or happiness you need to make sure that the changes are not going to be made by the people who have the power to make the changes.
For instance, take a look at the current generation of office workers. They are incredibly underpaid, under-utilized, and have very limited job security. A job that can be done more frequently but has a lot fewer job options is a more efficient option than one that is more difficult to get and requires specialized experience. We see the same thing in other occupations, yet we still have to pay people less money, not more.

I know that’s not an answer, but it’s a lot of money to buy an “e-machine” rather than a “computer” and they are a lot more expensive than computers. You can spend more and get less, but you don’t want to spend more and be able to work around the clock and still have the computer you need to do your job. A computer is a machine that runs code.
