subframing photography is an emerging form of photography where a photographer captures an image of a subject (usually a subject of a particular time, place, or subject) that is then digitally manipulated to give them a certain effect. The idea behind subframing is that the image is less about the subject and more about the photographer. Using light, the camera, and the image processing software, the photographer can control the effect of the image.
We’ve been experimenting with subframing photography recently. The idea is that our photos are never really about the subject per se but about the process of capturing the image itself. In this case, the subject is a human figure walking out of the desert into the light of the early morning sun. The photographer uses a single flash to capture the image which is then manipulated to give the subject a certain effect.
The results are sometimes striking, but often it can be quite ugly! This is where the subframing software comes into play. It can be used to create a number of different results from the same image. One approach we explored is to use a white background and a light green sky to give the subject a slight glow.
This is a good example of how subframing can be used to create a unique effect on a scene. You can make the subject look as if it’s wearing a hat or a scarf, or as if it’s dancing around with a glass of wine.
It’s a good idea to play with your lighting to add even more depth to your subject, as well as to make it seem more dynamic. If it’s a scene made up of a number of different objects, try taking the background out and just shooting from a single angle. You can even do this as a sort of “bokeh” effect.
As a subframing photographer, I like to try to add a personal touch to my subject by framing my own images so that they aren’t too distracting. For instance, I used to frame my portraits to make my subjects appear to be wearing a hat or scarf. Then I would add in a bit of pop culture references or elements in the background to make the subjects look more interesting.
I do something similar with my sub-framed photos. For instance, I frame my photos at about 30 degrees so that they don’t look like they are too high to the floor. This makes my photos more interesting and my subjects more interesting.
There’s a lot of people out there that think that sub-framing or framing is a bad thing. They would rather keep their photos simple, but that is not usually a good idea because it will not take into account the potential for them to be distracting, it will only take into account their potential for being distracting. For instance, I know that there are some people out there who want my photos to be simple and straight-to-the-point.
So I have a few options here. If you want to keep your photos simple, you should try a lot of things. Maybe you want to go with a minimalist approach. Or you can try to take your photos and then edit them to be more interesting (or, you could even go full frame, and then still be a minimalist). But be sure to consider the potential for people to be distracting.
But what do you do when people are too distracting for your photos? The answer is that you sub-frame. And sub-framing is a bit of both. On one hand, it can be a way to make your photos stand out and be more interesting if the people in them are not that interesting. And on the other hand, you can actually get away with using sub-framing by the rules of photography.
