I love photography, and I’ve spent many hours of my life in front of the camera and in the process of capturing the moments that make up my life. I love to capture the unique details and the simple but beautiful moments throughout my life. So I often like to photograph my friends and family as well.
For a while I thought that the best way to really take me out of my comfort zone was to actually get to know the people I was photographing. It was really exciting to find out that you can do this with teens and that you can get so much more out of these precious little beings than I was ever able to.
It’s also fun to put aside the subject matter and get to know the person who’s being photographed. This is one of the best things ever to do. Even if you’re not into photography, it’s always great to get to know the person behind the camera. You can learn so much about these people that you never realized they could do.
If you think you can get away with putting the camera in the mouth of your target, or even worse – the camera in your face, you can find yourself trapped in a time loop. The more you can see around you, the more vulnerable you become. The more time you spend in time loops, the more you can actually see yourself and other people in the future.
