While it’s nice to celebrate our peers in a way that makes them feel proud of themselves, let’s be honest, we’re all a little insecure about our talents. Sometimes a person’s talent is too hard for them to admit, but there are plenty of people who are just as good at being good in their lives as they are at shooting pictures.
Not every photographer wants to be an award-winning photographer. The reason these contests exist is because of the fact that it is hard to find good photographs without having to pay people to take them. Not only is that a lot of time and money, but it also takes away from the time you could be doing the things you love doing. It’s similar to why we all like to take pictures.
What I love about the teen photography contests is that they are all about making the people who are good at taking pictures happy. The fact that they don’t even cost anything at all to enter doesn’t matter because most of us would never ever want to spend money on something we don’t want to do, like taking pictures. It’s about creating a time-loop of wanting to be a photographer that ends with the time when we’re not at all interested in photography.
In the current teen photography contest, we are asked to take pictures of people that we like and to post them on our social networking sites. These pictures will then be judged by several of our friends who are also taking part in the contest. When we have enough pictures of people that we like then we can give them thumbs up.
There are a lot of things that people take pictures of. When we took our first picture of someone, we didn’t take pictures of just the person. We took pictures of people, the environment, and of the person’s expression. These images are only as good as the people who took them.
What better way to find out what a person’s personality is than to ask them about their personality. We just asked some girls how they were doing a few weeks ago and they said that they were pretty good.
