I’m sure I’ve shared this somewhere, but it’s true: I have been the director of information technology resume at a company for the past six months. I’ve been here for the last four months, and I’m really enjoying being here. I’ve learned a ton, met a lot of great people, and I’m learning more everyday with the job.
I have a couple other company’s who I use to help me with my resume. They have a little bit of a knack for self-preservation (and a lot of other skills of course), but you get the idea.
If youve been working in an information technology job for at least six months, you probably have some of the skills and characteristics that make it well-suited for working in a new position. If youre hoping to be able to move into a new position within a company, then getting a resume with all of the skills and characteristics that make it a good fit will be a good thing.
This is something that I have noticed in my own job search. I went on a job search for a couple of years, and I met so many people who were applying for jobs, and in almost every case, they made the mistake of including a resume. When I asked what they had in the resume, most of them said it had to do with their background in computer science.
